Beorn is most widely known as an ranger who also possess magical powers.

When in the forest he is perceived as being a very difficult
and cunning foe.

Personality

Beorn is a good humored but vengeful person. His vengeful side does not come out often, but he will turn dangerously violent if one of his group members, especially Bondo, is threatened or injured. He is generally considered to be fair but strict. Lately, he is reported to have gained a darker and more frightening aura. It is even reported that his eyes have taken on a whitish glow. These are, however highly questionable rumors possibly come into life as a cause of an exaggerated reputation.

Background and History

Beorn of Corandia was born on the island of Lopan. Little is known of his early years and family. Some
rumors claim that his father and brother was powerful adventurers who was in conflict with the leader of
the Hunting Devils. The events that lead Beorn to later in life become a member of Hunting Devils is
unknown. It is speculated that he did not know of his father and brother’s conflict with the sect.

Beorn first started making a name for himself in Hunting Devils where he rose through the ranks to
become an officer in the sect. It was in Hunting Devils where he met his best friend and adventure
companion, Bondo Natas. Beorn had already been a member for a few years before they met, but the two
quickly found themselves doing missions together for the sect. Some reports claim that Beorn spent a lot
of his Hunting Devil years in the Northern Wilderness where he became a proficient ranger while
working with the Wolfen clans. It was also here he was awarded with the honour of carrying a Kankoran
longbow. Beorn has later in life also been seen in the Northern Wilderness, but in what capacity is
unknown.
During his years in the Hunting Devils, Beorn became romantically involved with a fellow ranger and
member of Hunting Devils named Crinara. They are also rumored to having a child together, The
whereabouts and location of Crinara and their alleged child is unknown. It is, however, certain that Beorn
and Crinara are no longer romantically involved.

Due to mysterious circumstances, Beorn and Bondo managed to detach themselves from Hunting Devils
(More on this event can be found under the page of Bondo Natas). Together with Bondo Natas, Beorn is
the founder and leader of The Regulators.

It is generally believed that besides being an ranger, Beorn is also a proficient earth warlock. Some (few)
dispute this secondary occupation, however, as he is reported to possess other powers commonly seen in
wizards. What is certain, however, is that there is more to Beorn than being simply a ranger.

OCC: 6th lvl Ranger, 5th lvl Earth Warlock.
Melee: 3 strikes per round with Brandenstock. Is highly proficient with bow and is known to fire several
arrows per round.

As with Bondo Natas, it is rumored that Beorn has recently gained knowledge of a powerful ancient
school of magic. Level of proficiency and what type of magic is not known.

Weapons

Beorn carries a powerful Konkaron longbow which has been reported to fire lightning bolts. If he has
modified the bow to fire lightning bolts or if it is just magic arrows is uncertain.
He also carries a 2h Brandenstock which he is believed to have modified considerably.
It is reported that on one occasion Beorn used a hammer-like weapon to slay a Balrog demon. It is
believed that the weapon used is the holy weapon named Hammer of Jedua.This weapon, as well as
Bondo Natas’ Deathkiss has been reported to have been located in Tombs of Gersidi, something that lends
support to the rumor that The Regulators were involved in stopping an Old One, who is also reported to
be in a magic sleep in that same place, from re-awakening.
